School Assembly
Friday, November 6 at 8:30am
Parents, we would like to invite you to our school assembly at 8:30 in the gym, Friday, November 6th.  Our B.E.S. librarian, Mandi Kujawa will be launching her children’s book, ‘Jacqueline the Singing Crow’.  Her book will be for sale after the assembly in the main office.  Each Book costs $15.  $5 will be donated back into our B.E.S. library.  We hope to see you there.

BES School Council Donation Drive
Banff Elementary School Council is continuing to cultivate the love of learning between home and school, and we are looking to you for assistance. School Council is launching a Donation Drive, November 5th to 27th to support this endeavour.

Remembrance Day School Assembly
Tuesday, November 10 9:30-10:30
Parents are welcome to join us for this assembly in the gym on November 10th.

Long-Term Absences
A reminder that if you take your child out of school for an extended period of time, please inform the school office and your child’s teacher of the specific dates/times. Whether you take your child out of school for educational purposes or just for pleasure, there is no requirement that teachers will provide assignments, work etc. prior to a student’s absence.

Right from the Start
RFTS is hosting a parent information evening, focusing on the Zones of Regulation on Tuesday, November 17 from 6-7pm, BES Library. Everyone benefits from learning strategies and tools to manage emotions!  Presented by Assistant Principal  Debbie McKibbin, RFTS , Allyson Van Impe. Please click here for more information and RSVP by Nov. 10th to allyson.vanimpe@crps.ca.
