Parenting and Technology Workshop, January 7
How do we support and guide our children’s choices as they navigate the worlds of media and technology? How do we as adults keep up with the rapid changes and help everyone in our families think critically, stay safe and act responsibly in the digital world? Join us for a workshop at LGMS at 7 pm on Thursday, January 7. The session will be designed to address some common challenges emerging technologies pose by brainstorming and discussing practical strategies in small groups, recording them and sharing these ideas. Parents will also come away with some key resources to support the use of media and technology as positive forces. Rather than debating issues raised by change, our tasks will be designed so that everyone collaborates and comes away with informed and effective strategies.
