Internet safety information for parents

Darren Dick (CRPS) and Shawn Carr (Town of Banff FCSS ) recently met with parent to discuss media awareness and Digital Citizenship. The presentation provided an overview of the issues with technology use as it relates to the students mental health, school culture, and CRPS School Act policies. Topics included: Cyber bullying, Gaming, and social network sites, and strategies for safe, wise and responsible use of the technology.
