Spotlight on Learning
Teachers are learners too! All teachers attended Teachers’ Convention in Calgary last Thursday and Friday. Highlights included learning more about designing meaningful learning tasks, formative assessment, digital citizenship, and instructional strategies for teaching numeracy. Examples of our staff tweets over the two days:
* Learning journals - so many ways to express understanding. Can't wait to put these ideas into action!
* "Build strengths instead of working on deficits." Dr. Temple Grandin (photo below)
