Lunch Program, School Council Meeting, Next Year: Moving?, CUBS T-Shirts : June 8, 2017
Spotlight on Learning
BES students are privileged to collaborate with experts in our community. An important part of authentic learning tasks is the opportunity to learn through real problems, issues, questions or ideas that are of real concern or interest to the broader community. One example is the grade three students will be tracking, charting and analyzing Mr. Thomson’s progress as he rides across the Divide. Two Grade 3 learning outcomes for math are to be able to collect information and construct bar graphs, and to organize data, using charts, lists and graphs, in order to solve problems.
