School Closure, Playground Items, Remembrance Day School Assembly, Time Change : November 3, 2017

Spotlight on Learning
There is lots of learning about positive mental health happening with Right from the Start (RFTS). For example, many BES students participated in "Crossing the Lava," a team building exercise that encourages students to work as a group, to try various strategies to succeed, and to find their inner leaders. RFTS is also sharing self-regulation strategies by helping students understand how they can get back to the "green zone," the best place to learn and have fun. Many students have taken a Walk of Wow, where they pay attention to the world around them with mindfulness and curiosity, and report on one thing they noticed that inspired them!  I’m certain you will agree our Right From the Start (RFTS) team is integral to BES!
