Staffing Update and Nature Explorers

Greetings. We hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather and start of summer.

Staffing/Classes

We want to inform you of the projected staffing and class arrangements for next year, and although things can change over the summer, we are happy to report many positives already in place.  As you know we have an increase in projected enrollment and because of that, Mr. MacPhee, Superintendent of Schools has increased the number of classrooms at BES. This year we have 15 classes and next year we have been provided with  17. With the additional 2 classes we are able to maintain an overall lower class size.  As well, BES and BCHS have been staffed with a full time (half time at BES) Educational Assistant to directly support our ELL student population. Please note the 17 projected class configurations and sizes as of July 3, 2014.
