Back to school information - Gr. 1 to 6
Opening Day – Welcome Back Aug. 31 morning: In an effort to ease into the new school year and as well to honour the class placement process for new students registered over the summer, we will continue with the process that was so successful last year. Students will go to their 2014-15 (last school year) classroom. Any new students will meet in the gym for an orientation and school tour. Students should enter the school from the entrance they have done in the year of 2014-15 (last year). After class selection and placements are finalized, students will then transition to their new class teacher through a teacher to teacher/class to class transition. School supplies that were ordered from Bow Valley Basics through School Council will be collected by classes facilitated through the teacher. Students who did not order through school council should bring all their school supplies on Sept. 1.
Opening Day Dismissal - Grade 1-6 students will be dismissed at 3:05pm. Bus students will go home on the bus. If you are picking up your child and not not sure where to meet them, please come by office. Please note: Grade One parents who are picking up their child, please come in and meet your child at their new class. Bus students will be led to the busses by another teacher.
More details of the back to school information is available on the school web-site.
