BVECDC Early Years fair, CRPS Board Highlights, Thanksgiving Day : October 6, 2016

While studying perimeter, area and measurement, our Grade 4 ‘architects’ discovered the 130+ blueprints for the new school are on cm² paper!  Using what they learned from expert Mr. Chad Hollett, students are creating their own blueprints for their 'Dream School'.  Students meticulously measured classrooms and other spaces in our school and are currently drawing them to scale.

Looking for Lego, K’nex, building blocks….
We welcome any donations of Lego, K’nex, building blocks, etc. for our noon hour clubs.  Please keep an eye out for gently used materials as you fall / spring clean, at garage sales, etc.  Donations are welcome all year long!

Terry Fox Run
This year our students joined BCHS for their Terry Fox run/assembly and it was a huge success.  All ages enjoyed the stories, found meaning in the messages and were awed by the amazing facts around this true Canadian hero.  Our school goal was to raise $600 for Cancer research; we well surpassed that goal.  BES raised $725.90!  We once again proved that we can all make a difference.
