Remembrance Day Assembly, School Fees, Science Fair : November 3, 2016
Grade 1 & 2 had a “Mystery Mathematician” visiting yesterday. The students arrived well prepared with a list they created of possible mathematical tools and occupations that require math. Students began by posing questions to determine what kinds of mathematical tools he uses for his job (ie: a measuring tape). Using these clues, students then narrowed down the possible job options to determine the Mystery Mathematician’s occupation. The answer? It was our very own Facilities Manager, Mr. Riordon - a Power Engineer who is responsible for overseeing the building of our new school!
