Many Gr. 2, 3, 4 & 5 students have been diligently practicing with Mrs. Gadon over their lunch hours for the upcoming production A Charlie Brown’s Christmas. The show is in joint partnership with the Banff Centre. Show time is 4pm on Sunday, November 27th. Tickets are available through the Banff Centre Box Office or their website.

Friday, November 25 from 12:01 - 12:54 pm in the BES Gym
A choice of turkey and cheddar, ham and swiss, or veggie sandwich; juice box; apple; and a rice krispie square for $4.
Proceeds will go to the BES Food for Learning Program.
All family members are welcome to join us for this meaningful event
School Council is hosting a movie night on Friday, November 25 in the BES Gym 6:00-7:45pm
- The feature film is Finding Dory
- Drop off and pick up at the back doors of the gym
- Grades K-6 (Kindergarten age children must have a parent stay with them during the movie)
- Cost: $4.00 a student, $7 with 1 sibling, $10 for a family of 3 or more
- $2.50 for Popcorn, $1.00 for Juice
- Bring something comfortable to sit on (i.e. blanket, pillow)
The holiday season is fast approaching and what better way to ring it in than with a school fundraiser! This Coffee Fundraiser by Grades 4, 5 and 6, is an opportunity for students and families to support a variety of School Council initiatives such as Mountain Living (Nature Explorers and Outdoor Pursuits), Curriculum Enhancements, Dance in School and many others.

Banff Community Christmas Concert
Monday, December 12 Technical rehearsals (morning only). Students who are participating or watching the dress rehearsal will be transported from school by bus to the Banff Centre. Students who are not participating in the dress rehearsal will remain at school for alternate school work.
Wednesday, December 14 and Thursday, December 15 Concert starts at 6:00 sharp! Grades 1, 2 and 3 are in the first hour of the show. Grades 4, 5 and 6 are in the second hour
- Tickets will be available on Tuesday, November 29 at noon through the Banff Centre Box Office (Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 12pm – 5pm 403-762-6301)
- Tickets are NOT available at the school
- Ticket limits apply: 4 per order, first come first serve
- Tickets are free
- Everyone REQUIRES A TICKET to watch the show (including infants and participants)

The Santa’s Anonymous Committee is starting to prepare for this year’s Christmas hamper drive. Over the past 25 years this program has helped hundreds of individuals and families in need of assistance during the holiday season. Last year over 160 hampers were delivered to families and individuals in Banff and Lake Louise. Please click here for more information.

If you have any Lego, K’nex, etc. not being used, or know where we might find some, please let us know. We would like to offer noon hour clubs focussed on creating with building materials.
