Terry Fox Assembly and Run
Please join us on Thursday, September 28th for the annual Terry Fox assembly and run.  Our assembly will start at 9:00 am in the BES gym followed by the run. This year our students will be joining the Banff Community High School for the run.  We are proudly supporting The Terry Fox Foundation in its ongoing work to fund innovative and progressive cancer research programs. Please support our school by joining us or making a donation. Your kindness will impact the lives of so many people living with cancer.  Students are invited to contribute a toonie ($2) for Terry (this is being collected by the classroom teachers) or you can click here to sponsor Banff Elementary School through the Terry Fox School Run.

Please Remove your Shoes
Students, Parents and Staff:  please help us keep our school clean and beautiful by removing outdoor footwear.  You will notice our new signs in the main entrance and at the connector doors.

Grade 7 Boys Volleyball Coach needed

We are hiring a .4 PUF educational assistant.  Please see the posting on the CRPS website (under Employment Opportunities) if you are interested in applying.

Lunch Program Volunteers
Ordering is now closed for the first session. This is a purely volunteer run program.  We are in need of volunteers to ensure this program can run.  Please contact our volunteer coordinator Kelsie Fodor at to volunteer.   We cannot run the program without the help of volunteers.

Youth Drop In
The Town of Banff, in partnership with the Banff Canmore Community Foundation, is starting a youth drop in this school year for grade 7-10’s. The Community Foundation has renovated the basement space and we are wanting to open it up to students on Monday – Thursdays from 3-6:00 pm. They can come to do homework, hang out with friends, do art projects, play games, etc. There will be a Town of Banff youth worker supervising every day to help support the program.

Is Your Child Anxious?
