New Automated “Late†Alert, CRPS Board Meeting, Important Upcoming Dates : March 2, 2018
Spotlight on Learning
Pink shirt day was Wednesday, with an emphasis on kindness (and the CUBS code). It was also an opportunity to highlight the differences between rude, mean, and bullying. Rude is inadvertently saying or doing something that hurts someone else (not intentional). Mean is purposely saying or doing something to hurt someone once - or maybe twice (intentional and yes, very hurtful). Bullying is intentionally aggressive behaviour, repeated over time, that involves an imbalance of power. I am continually impressed with the kind, caring culture at BES thanks to students, parents and staff!
