Spring Break, Parent/Teacher/Child Conferences, Band Performance : March 16, 2018
Spotlight on Learning
Play Your Part is an educational initiative geared to grades 3-8. It is an interactive program, with emphasis on gender equality, global citizenship, and student leadership; and is well-aligned with provincial curriculum outcomes. The Play Your Part program was introduced to students on Wednesday with an assembly (during the power outage!) followed by a leadership workshop for 25 students. The next step is for the leaders to teach the games to teachers and other students and an optional fundraising component. A big thank you to local Meghan Mutrie for facilitating this memorable day with us!
