Valbella Fundraiser, Lunch Program Volunteers, CRPS Board Meeting, Spring Family Fun Dance : April 20, 2018
Spotlight on Learning
Our grade three students have been busy the last several months collectively constructing their knowledge of structures through an inquiry of bridges. They have explored concepts of building and design through a variety of subtasks, including a spaghetti tower challenge and testing the strength of pillars, arches and even the common egg! Students were able to articulately describe the features and aspects of the bridges to parents and teachers as they engaged in constructing their design. The final test: can their bridge support 5kg or 10 lbs?

2018 / 2019 Lunch Program Volunteers Needed
This school year marks the 6th successful year of the Lunch Program at BES. Thank you to Tracey, Dianne, Kelsey, Patti and Kara for all their hard work. Many of these volunteers have been with the program from its inception in 2012 and are ‘retiring’. The Lunch Program, supported by School Council, requires a new team of four volunteers to coordinate the program for the school year. We need you to fill one of these positions by the end of May to ensure the Lunch Program continues in the 2018 - 2019 school year. Please click here for more information.
