Mornings at BES
Doors are opened at 8:20 am (the front door at 8 am). Please encourage your child to play outside or wait quietly in the foyer (not the classroom) until 8:20.  We want children to feel welcome, but also give teachers the time they need to prepare for the day. There is staff on supervision both inside and outside the school beginning at 8:20. If your child requires supervision prior to 8:20, please sign them up for Before School Care in the gym - it’s free! Please click here to sign up. Please help your child find a routine that works best for them; some children benefit from being active outside until the bell rings, others benefit from a calming break and may wish to come inside to sit quietly.
