October 5, 2018 : Thanksgiving Monday, School Fees, Caribou Ski Pass

Spotlight on Learning
Grade 6 students are learning about the elements of story.  This week they focussed on using descriptive language to describe the characters and setting of their story.  To visualize the setting for their stories, students had 20 minutes to create it in the Makerspace. It was amazing how the descriptive words flowed onto their planning page afterwards! Who knew the Makerspace could support Language Arts outcomes too?
