November 2, 2018 : Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences, Picture Retakes, Remembrance Day School Assembly

Spotlight on Learning
We hope you enjoyed our Hallowe’en 2018 parade.  It was a pleasure to host so many keen parents! Thank you to our generous school community for donating two cart loads of food to We Scare Hunger.  Gr. 6 Spirit Council required teamwork to push the carts down to the bins at IGA.

Grade 3 Rock Festival was rockin’ today!  Students conducted four experiments to determine the type of rock; an acidity test (Did it fizz?), a streak test, did it float or sink?, and the rock tumbling (an erosion simulator to show rocks break down into particles or sediment).  Thank you parent volunteers!

Parents and family members are welcome to join the assembly.  Please enter the gym from the back doors off the tarmac, which will open at 9:15 am.
