Spotlight on Learning
Through the science topic “Waste in Our World”, Grade 4 students engaged in design thinking to create the annual cardboard arcade. Students reused recycled materials, tweaking their designs throughout the process. Playing the games was great fun too!

Vaping Information Session and Conversation
On November 28 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at BES the Town of Banff is hosting a Vaping Information Session and Conversation for parents and caregivers of school-aged children/youth as well as for students. If you require childcare, please register by November 21 by calling 403-762-1251 or emailing community.services@banff.ca.

Grade 7 Girls Basketball Coach Needed
Basketball season is about to begin. A coach is needed for the Grade 7 girls team. Please contact the School Office if you are interested in coaching.

Removing Footwear - Donating adult slippers/indoor footwear
Students, Parents and Staff: please help us keep our school clean and floors dry by removing outdoor footwear. Parents/volunteers please remember to bring indoor footwear with you. In addition BES is collecting donations of adult slippers or indoor footwear to have available for school visits. Please drop off donations at the office.

Squirrel Street Closure
We need your help! We are specifically looking for someone to assist with the barricades at 11:40 am on half day Fridays and 2:45 pm on full day Fridays. Please let the office know if you are able to help.  **If you are going by and see the barricades should be out (8:00 am or 2:45 pm) or should be put away by the fence (8:30 or 3:15ish), please feel comfortable moving them as needed. This would be greatly appreciated!! 

School Fees
School Fees are now due. No paper copy will be sent home. Debit or credit card payments can be made online through your Parent Portal https://powerschool.crps.ca/public/. As per Canadian Rockies School Division’s Administrative Procedure 503 payment for school fees is due 30 days after invoicing. Please contact the school office to make payment arrangements if unable to pay at this time.
