February 28, 2020: Hoodies & T-Shirt Sales, News from the Office, Important Dates

Spotlight on Learning
Grade 8 students were the leaders and teachers on Wednesday for our Pink Shirt Day assembly. Two groups presented their lessons, including amazing videos on anti-bullying; reminding us how to prevent bullying and what to do if you are the bully, bullied or the bystander. Following the CUBS code is expected by all students. We want our school to feel safe and comfortable.

Hoodies & T-Shirts Sales
Back by popular demand are our BES hoodies and t-shirts. These shirts celebrate our new school logo created by Jason Carter. Our school has worked with the celebrated Canadian artist to redesign our school bear in order to represent a school with students aged Kindergarten to grade 8. We believe that our logo continues to represent the beliefs held in our “CUBS” code, while adjusting to the needs of our older students.
Hoodies are $40 and T-Shirts are $15 and they can be ordered in the following sizes:
Youth Medium / Youth Large / Youth XLarge / Adult Small / Adult Medium / Adult Large
If you are interested in purchasing a hoodie and/or a t-shirt, please complete the order form and send exact cash or a cheque payable to Banff Elementary School by Friday March 13th, 2020.  Order forms can be printed from this link, or hard copies can be picked up at the office.
