Attendance and Absences due to COVID
Parents are asked to notify the office of all attendance matters for their child(ren) by using the telephone attendance line (403-762-4465 ext 1) or emailing bes.info@crps.ca by 8:30 am. In your message please provide the following information:
The first and last name of your child and their grade.
The detailed reason for their absence.
If your child is exhibiting one or more of the COVID symptoms outlined in the daily screening tool, please indicate which symptoms. If they have one of the top five symptoms - fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat - please note they are legally required to isolateBefore returning to school they must either have a negative covid test result and be symptom free, OR isolate for 10 days and be symptom free. If your child has any of the other symptoms they are not allowed to attend school while sick, and may only return when symptom free.

News from the Office
School Fees
School fees are not yet finalized for 2020/2021; however they will start to appear on Parent Portal as we work on the fees. Payment is not due until you have been notified. Please note that an adjustment has been made to the 2019/2020 Lunch Supervision Fees and a credit will show on your Parent Portal account. This credit will be applied to any outstanding fees or held and applied to the 2020/2021 fees.

2020-2021 Demographic Update
Thank you to those who have already completed the 2020-2021 Annual Demographic Update.  If you have not already completed the update, please log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal account and click on SchoolEngage on the left side bar at the bottom. Once you have signed in to your SchoolEngage account, click on the bell at the top right hand corner. You will see the incomplete forms in blue. Walking Field Trip Consent and Lunch Hour Permission (to go home only for Grades 7&8) are included in this year’s Demographic Update (not a separate paper form). Please contact the school if you have any questions.

Settlement Services
