October 9, 2020: Thanksgiving, Attendance, Community Conversation

Spotlight on Learning
In science, grade 8 students attempted to determine the solubility of Kool-Aid in water. They were able to dissolve over 200 grams of sugar in only 100 ml of water. Afterward they applied their knowledge of rates and ratios to turn their concentrated solution into a more appropriate concentration to share with grade 7 students.

Look at the self-portraits from our Grade 5 students, reminding us how we have beautiful smiles underneath our masks! Our Grade 7-8 students have created beautiful Wordles to describe themselves. We are also so excited for Right From the Start to be working outside with our students to deliver their wonderful program and our classes are enjoying the outdoors with Lynx in our Nature Explorers program!
