Spotlight on Learning

Grade 2 students had a fun day of learning about Alberta’s Pioneers’ as part of their Social Studies program of studies:  Here are some students learning how to make butter.

To celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day on June 21,  our Kindergarten students were inspired by Trudy Wesley’s book Ne Iethka Makochi Chach “This is Our Home,” whereby students created beautiful artwork similar to the cover below using blues and greens and learned the story about the Stoney Nakoda People.
