“Sharing our Similarities, Celebrating our Differences”
Grade 7 and 8 classes collaborated to create this amazing piece of artwork celebrating diversity and inclusion within BES and outside in our world. The mural is hanging in the Cub’s Cave and families are welcome to view this at the upcoming Parent/Teacher/Student conferences!

Halloween Parade

Monday October 31 at 1:15 pm Grades K to 8 students will parade around the school wearing their costumes. Your child is invited to bring an easy-to-wear-not-too-scary-non-offensive costume that they can change into on their own for the afternoon. Please do not bring accessories (weapons, badges, walkie-talkies, wands, etc). Students will be given time to change into their costumes at the end of lunch break. Kindergarten students can wear their costumes all day. Families are welcome.

Parking and Drop Off Zones
If you drive your child(ren) to school, please take a close look at the map below regarding the recommended traffic flow and drop-off/pick-up Kiss & Go locations. Squirrel St between Moose St and Elk St is closed to all traffic except buses from 8:00-8:40 am and 2:45-3:15 pm. When the barricades are in place, please do not drive around them. Kiss & Go zones are designed to safely pick up and drop off students. There are two Kiss & Go zones; Elk Street and Big Horn Street. Please use these as intended; kiss your child good-bye and move along! Drivers, please do not leave your vehicle parked or idling in this area for any amount of time. If you would like to walk your child to the school, parking is available in the Train Station Parking Lot with a walkway beside the Banff Daycare. Please also be respectful of the handicap zones.
